Mit dem Drachenfest Ghuri Utshob feiern die Bangladescher den Beginn des Frühjahrs. Das Fest wird in ganz Südasien traditionell zelebriert, es hat hinduistische Ursprünge. Das Drachenfest in Bangladeschs Hauptstadt Dhaka gilt als das farbenprächtigste des ganzen Landes. Die Fotos von Evi Lemberger zeigen die Menschen auf den Dächern des ältesten und hinduistisch dominierten Stadtteils Old Dhaka. Die Fotografin hat dort Porträts von Kindern und Erwachsenen sowie Details der Drachenkonstruktionen aufgenommen, deren knallige Farben von Weitem zu sehen sind. (zeit online)
